Valentines day!

So, the fateful day is upon us all and I've been thinking of how I can relate a post on here to it. I've decided I'm going to start with gift ideas, as that seems to be what I see most people stressing over when it comes to this special day. Whether it be for your significant other, or just a person you really like, everyone wants to try show that person they care about just how much they like them on valentines, and sometimes that may sound easy but can end up being a lot trickier than you think! So I'm going to list some gift ideas for boyfriends, girlfriends or your crush from some of my favourite online sites as I've been seeing a lot of cutesy potential gifts during my daily online window shop sessions ;)
I'll start with the store american apparel, they make such cute clothes and have a whole range out outfits and cute things they are selling (take a look at their valentines lookbook for outfit ideas girls by the way!) especially for the valentines holiday, some of which I have picked out below :)

These dresses are just the cutest and in red and pink they would make the perfect valentines gift for your girlfriend to wear on a valentines date with you! The red and pastel pink colours fit the valentines theme so well and are the cutest of the bunch in my personal opinion. They can be found here on the online AA store.

These initials engraved into hearts necklaces they are selling are just the cutest and an adorable way of showing your girl how important she is to you by giving her one with your initial on it ;) They are a tad cliche but perfect for valentines day and don't push the budget too far compared to other jewelry gift ideas!

These super cute jars can be found here on this etsy user's store. They make all kinds of cute jars and signs with chalkboard labels on them so you can write whatever you want on them. I think this would be a cute idea if you wanted to write her something cute, love letter or some notes on why you love her (i'm just naming cheesy things, i'm sure you guys can come up with something better) and put them in the jar and write her name in a heart on it or the date you started dating on it or our first valentines day or anything that is personal to you and her! Girls love things that are personal that they can see you made or put work into, because then they know you really thought about them and the gift you wanted to give.

These matching minnie and mickey tshirts are one for the couples celebrating valentines, they aren't overly romantic but they are adorable and cheesy and i think they are a really lovely gift to give to your girlfriend if you don't want to get too serious with the present giving and just want to keep the gifts cute and fun! :) They can be found on this etsy user's store.

I know these are incredibly lame and cheesy in some people's eyes maybe but i just think these mittens are the cutest! And would make a perfect gift to give your significant other, especially if you are going on an outdoors date or if you take them ice skating because you can then get to hold hands for your date and keep toasty whilst being cute together! Now I don't want this blog post to be aimed at the people celebrating valentines together. So if you are single or unable to spend your valentines day with the one you love due to distance or other circumstances and feel like bringing a little sarcasm to your day then why not buy yourself a little gift for valentines to wear. This funny tshirt is available from this online store! :)

I love infinity rings but if you don't want to go with the classic infinity ring then I think this idea is equally as romantic and the fact you can personalize the letters on the bracelet to you and your significant other's initials makes it even more romantic I find. This can be found on this online etsy store.

This gift isn't as romantic as the others but I think it makes a really cool gift if say you like a boy and want to give him something small on valentines to show you care but you aren't dating this person so you don't want to go over the top with your gift, or be too lovey dovey, then this makes the perfect gift. They do bow ties in other prints to, I just used Star wars and Zelda as an example as many people love those movies and that game. These bow tie and more can be found here.

Another gift idea for your boyfriend could be this customizable chalkboard phone case. You just leave you and your person's name on a note at the store's checkout page and they will make a chalkboard effect phone case for your iphone 4,4s or 5. Everyone should have something sweet in their life on valentines day, so why not make it a load of cute, customized cookies.
